Yesterday about 2:30pm the Alden Fire Department was called out on the report of a dump truck on fire at the Martin-Marietta Quarry east of town. No injuries reported.
The dump truck, owned by Petersen Construction, was being used as part of dirt work taking place at the Quarry.
The truck is considered to be a total loss as the cause is under investigation.
The Iowa Falls Fire Department assisted at the scene.
