Cerro Gordo County Prepares For Departure Of The County's Administrative Officer

10/12/2017 - Cerro Gordo County is preparing for the departure of the county’s administrative officer Tom Drzycimski.

His last day with the county is Tuesday (Oct. 17th) and he begins his new job as the human resource director for the Mason City School District October 23rd.

Cerro Gordo County’s Assistant Zoning Administrator John Robbins will be handling all planning and zoning matters after Tuesday. In the interim, county supervisor Tim Latham will oversee courthouse maintenance issues.

The application deadline for the position of Cerro Gordo County Human Resources and Safety Director was this week. A committee will be reviewing the applications and conducting the interviews for this position.

Drzycimski worked for Cerro Gordo County for 20 years.
