10/12/2017 - This week the Hubbard City Council met with Hardin County Sheriff Dave McDaniel who discussed a potential pilot project that would involve putting cameras statically located in the city.
Hardin County would be responsible for purchasing and installing the link from the grain elevator to the main tower and to purchase and install a link from the elevator to the city cameras.
The City of Hubbard would be responsible for purchasing and installing the cameras along with the enclosures, mounts and wireless panels.
Once installed there would be an evaluation period of 60 to 90 days.
Members of the Hubbard City Council believe this could help deter some of the vandalism that has happened in the past and voted to participate in the pilot project.
