OnTheGoMedia Announces Launch and Names Host of Spanish Language Podcast
Hampton, Iowa – OnTheGoMedia, Inc. is excited to announce a new project that will allow us to deliver content to our Spanish-speaking population! In September, we’ll be launching a new weekly podcast featuring RadioOnTheGo News and RadioOnTheGo Sports translated into Spanish. This podcast will also contain new information pertinent to our hispanic listeners.
As a portion of our mission statement reads, “we recognize and accept our responsibility to serve anyone who resides in our geographic coverage area,” and we are taking this step to ensure that our Spanish-speaking neighbors are included in having important local news and information available to them.
We are also introducing the voice behind the podcast, Juan Homez. Homez says, “Being well informed is the most powerful tool to move forward, in the right direction. I am very excited to begin working on podcasts for Hampton and the surrounding communities.”
Homez brings more than twenty years of broadcasting experience, including anchoring and producing Noticias Wink in Fort Myers, FL, Azteca America for Atlanta, Texas, and Las Vegas, and Noticias Univision Utah. Juan’s experience will be instrumental in reaching out and connecting with our community’s Spanish-speaking residents as he gathers information on what the community would like to hear about. We know Juan will bring his expertise to this new role and help us bridge the information gap in our community.
