Several locals place highly at indoor track & field meets Monday

Several local student-athletes earned top-10 finishes at Monday’s Boys Dickinson Relays in the UNI-Dome, a large meet featuring track & field teams across Iowa in all enrollment classes. Team scores weren’t kept.

Aplington-Parkersburg: Kael Stotler – 5th in shot put

Clarksville: Dawson Barnett – 7th in shot put

Iowa Falls-Alden: Jaden Damiano – 1st in 60m hurdles, 5th in 200m dash

South Hardin: Traven Wheeler – 1st in high jump

Other local teams competed at an indoor high school invitational at Wartburg College, a similar meet with fewer schools.

Aplington-Parkersburg: Ava Eddy – 7th in 200m dash, 9th in 400m dash, Kinsey Mohwinkle – 5th in 55m hurdles, Zoey Uhlenhopp – 8th in shot put, Emma Wolff – 6th in long jump, Girls 4x400m relay – 4th, Girls 4x800m relay – 1st

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows: MaKayla Beisel – 2nd in high jump

Dike-New Hartford: Cameron Decker – 4th in 200m dash, Devon Lotts – 7th in 200m dash, Dawson Dietrick – 7th in shot put, Boys 4x400m relay – 5th

At the Riverhawk Indoor Invitational at Mason City:

AGWSR: Kaden Abbas – 5th in 60m hurdles, Aiden Heitland – 7th in shot put
