Today before 8am the Dumont Fire Department was called out on the report of a garage on fire attached to a home in the 11-thousand 3-hundred block of 195th Street northwest of Dumont. No injuries reported.
The fire was contained to the garage, and the cause is electrical in nature.
Assisting at the scene were the Butler County Sheriff’s Department and Butler County Emergency Management.
The departments were on the scene for just over one hour.
