Tomorrow the NIACC Board of Directors will hold a special meeting. One of the items on the agenda involves going into a closed session to discuss the candidates for the position of college president. In the past couple of weeks, five finalists were interviewed for the position.
They include:
-Dr. Joe DeHart, Provost Emeritus of the Newton Campus of Des Moines Area Community College
-Dr. Nicholas Quellette, Superintendent and CEO of the Hudson School District in Wisconsin
-Dr. Joel Lundstrom, Provost of the Carroll Campus of DMACC
-Dr. Erin Shaw, a curriculum and an accreditation consultant for different schools
-And Joel Pedersen, who is currently the Chief Administrator for the Central Rivers Area Education Agency based in Cedar Falls.
The NIACC Board of Directors special meeting is tomorrow at 6pm in Room 100 of the Pierce Administration Building on the campus in Mason City.
