Fire destroys an unoccupied mobile home in Clarksville

Today about 6:50am the Clarksville Fire Department was called out on the report of a mobile home on fire in the 400 block of South Fremont Street on the east side of the city. No injuries reported.

The mobile home, which was unoccupied, is considered to be a total loss. In addition, there was significant damage to the mobile home next to it which was occupied and everyone got out and is safe.

The cause is under investigation. Assisting agencies were the fire departments from Shell Rock and Allison, the EMS departments from Clarksville and Shell Rock, Clarksville Police Department, and Butler County Emergency Management.

The agencies were on the scene for around 3 and a half hours.
