Monday, the Clarksville City Council approved to increase water rates by two dollars, add a water meter rate of one dollar and increase the storm water drainage fee by two dollars, effective July 1st, 2024.
The Clarksville City Council also discussed proposed salary increases for fiscal year 2025. One of the recommendations made was to have three to five percent increases for city employees.
In other business, the Clarksville City Council approved a revision of the return to work policy and the temporary/modified work agreement in the employee handbook and tabled a resolution regarding employee wages for the next fiscal year.
