The Clarksville golf teams both placed second at quad meets hosted by Nashua-Plainfield Tuesday. The girls shot a 276, behind Nashua-Plainfield’s 228. Neither Dunkerton nor Tripoli posted team scores. The boys shot a 195, behind Tripoli’s 177. Dunkerton was third with a 197 and Nashua-Plainfield shot a 202. Both Clarksville teams will host a quad on Tuesday, April 16.
Both track & field teams were at a coed meet at Nashua-Plainfield. The boys placed sixth with 52 points. First place finishes: Eli Schmidt – long jump, Dawson Barnett – shot put. Second place finishes: Eli Schmidt – 400-meter hurdles, Dawson Barnett – discus, 4×200-meter relay. They’ll be back in action Thursday at Hudson.
The girls placed eighth with 38 points. First place finishes: Emmalee Manwarren – 400-meter hurdles and long jump. Second place finishes: Emmalee Manwarren – 100-meter dash. They’ll return to action Monday at Hudson.
