The North Butler boys track and field team placed 5th with 77 points at Cadet Relays hosted by Iowa Falls-Alden on Tuesday. Runners-up included Clayton Towsley in the 110m hurdles, Ezra Almelien in 3200m, Brecken Uhlenhopp in the shot put, and the 1600m sprint medley. In third was Stroker Koop in the long jump. The Bearcats will be at Lake Mills on Thursday.
The North Butler girls track and field team placed 6th with 60 points at Osage on Tuesday. In second was Addison Voelker in 1500m and 3000m, Laney Brinkman in 400m hurdles, 1600m sprint medley. Placing third was the 4x100m. The Bearcats will be at Northwood-Kensett on Friday.
The boys golf team placed first with a 185 at Newman Catholic triangular. The medalist for the Bearcats was Nolan Reser with a 42. The girls golf team was second with a 220 at Newman Catholic triangular. Runner-up for the Bearcats was Reagan Mulder with a 47. Both teams will be at Nashua on Thursday.
