The West Fork girls track and field team sprinted to a second place finish at Cowgirl Relays hosted by Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on Tuesday. Front runners included Tarah Ruckdashel in the 3000m and the shuttle hurdle relay. In second was Keara Wood in the high jump, Breckyn Dickman in the shot put, and the distance medley relay. Brylee Dickman in the shot put, Preslee Dickman in the 400m hurdles and the 4x400m relay placed third. The Warhawks will be at Northwood-Kensett on Friday.
The West Fork boys track and field team placed 6th at Cadet Relays hosted by Iowa Falls-Alden on Tuesday. In first place was Gavin Cronk in the shot put. Trevor Despenas in 200m and the 800 medley ran for second. The Warhawks will be at Forest City on Thursday.
The West Fork girls and boys golf teams competed in split triangulars against Hampton-Dumont-CAL and Garner-Hayfield-Ventura. The girls hosted a meet in Sheffield and placed third with a 250. The boys were at Hampton and placed second with a 180. Both teams will take part in a triangular hosted by Rockford on Thursday.
