This week the Wright County Board of Supervisors approved on the 3rd and final reading an ordinance amendment changing a parcel of land from agricultural to commercial/industrial zoning.
Talus Renewables is a green ammonia producer. The company uses electricity to produce ammonia through a carbon-neutral process. The company plans on working with Landus Cooperative.
In other business, the Wright supervisors approved the county’s fiscal year 2025 Iowa Department of Transportation Secondary Roads Budget, and also approved the county’s secondary roads five year program.
