Three students representing North Iowa Area Community College recently competed in Round 1 of the 2024 John Pappajohn Student Entrepreneurial Venture Competition and advanced to the finals.
The three NIACC student entrepreneurs competing in Round 1 were Catherine Dow of Clarksville, Elic Fjetland of Clarion, and Caleb Renner of Klemme.
Each of the student entrepreneurs won $500 in round 1, and will compete in the finals for a chance to win 5-thousand dollars.
The finalists will present on April 22nd at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center in Des Moines.
