The Aplington-Parkersburg School Board met Monday.
They held a public hearing on the 2024-2025 district budget.
After the public hearing, they adopted and certified the proposed budget of $21,513,295 for the 2024-25 school year. The proposed rate per $1,000 of assessed valuation for Fiscal Year 2025 is $11.92008. The income surtax rate is six percent.
They also approved the Class of 2024 graduates, pending the completion of all coursework.
At the end of the meeting, they held a closed session for the evaluation of Superintendent Travis Fleshner.
The next meeting will be Monday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m.
