Relief efforts are now in place for a Hampton family that was displaced by a residential garage and house fire Wednesday morning near the intersection of Highway 65 and 140th Street.
Gift cards for restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations are currently being accepted for Dave and Cheryl Becker and their family.
Financial support is also being accepted and can be provided in three ways; money can be sent through Venmo to the account @Jenniferjo13, you can make a check out to Butch or Jennifer Gruelke, for the benefit of (FBO) Becker Fire Fund, to First Bank Hampton or you can drop off donations at Butch Gruelke Auto Body, located at 521 4th St. SE in Hampton.
The garage was lost in the fire while the home received significant damage.
