Today about 1:45am the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the 26-hundred block of 182nd Street just north of Marshalltown for a welfare check on occupants of the residence.
When deputies arrived, they located a male and a female deceased. Names are not being released pending family notification.
This is being investigated as a homicide.
At the present time, there is no evidence or information available that would suggest a threat to the public.
