United Way of North Central Iowa provides update on funds distributed

As it wraps up its 100th Anniversary, officials with the United Way of North Central Iowa say that a total of $852,446.60 has been given to make a difference in the local area.

$685,713.60 was raised through the local 2023 United Way Campaign, while just over 35-thousand dollars was donated to support the Kirk Apartment fire residents. The building was destroyed by a fire in Mason City. In addition to the program allocations, United Way of North Central Iowa will also be distributing Donor Designated Funds to non-profit agencies collected during the campaign.

The United Way of North Central Iowa covers Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Franklin and Hancock Counties in the broadcast area.
