One AGWSR spring sports team was in action Monday. The boys golf team placed 12th with 392 strokes at an 18-hole tournament at Aplington-Parkersburg. The leading golfer was Gabe Nederhoff, who placed 19th with an 89. They’ll host Hudson and Oelwein in a triangular Tuesday at Meadowbrook Golf Course at 4:15.
The girls golf team will host the same teams for a triangular at Ackley Country Club at 4:15. The Cougars will look to bounce back from consecutive dual losses to DNH/AP and Jesup.
The track & field teams will compete at separate locations. The girls will be at the Falcon Coed Relays at Aplington-Parkersburg and the boys will be at a coed meet at South Tama. Both will start at 4:30.
