Last night the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department arrested 56-year-old James Mejia of Coulter for a controlled substance violation, for failing to affix a drug tax stamp, and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mejia was released from custody today.
If convicted on the first two charges, he could be sentenced for up to 30 years in prison.
