The trial for a 20-year-old Hampton man facing four felony charges in Hardin County has been rescheduled.
The state alleges that Jakyb Kapp was involved in an incident with a female under the age of 14 on December 22nd.
Kapp is charged with 3rd degree sexual abuse, 2nd degree sexual abuse, lascivious acts with a child, and for enticing a minor under the age of 16 with sexual purpose.
Kapp’s jury trial was scheduled to begin Tuesday, but has been rescheduled to June 4th at 9am in Hardin County District Court at Eldora.
If convicted on all the charges, he could be sentenced for up to 50 years in prison.
