Last week the Hampton-Dumont School Board held a special meeting and presented the board’s initial proposal for negotiations with the Hampton-Dumont Education Association.
The board proposed a wage increase of 65-hundred dollars to the base and moving to a salary pool in which all certified staff would receive a 1-thousand dollar increase.
The board also proposed an increase of 1-thousand dollars to the generator base for Schedule “D”.
The total salary increase proposed by the Hampton-Dumont School Board would be $245,512, or for 3-point-53 percent.
