Last week, the Hampton-Dumont Scholarship Fund distributed over $325,000 in scholarships to 91 students in the Hampton-Dumont-CAL graduating class of 2024.
Established in December of 1994 as the Hampton-Dumont Dollars for Scholars, the program awarded approximately 380 scholarships from a total of 95 donors last week. The president of the Hampton-Dumont Scholarship Fund, Rachel Heilskov, tells Radio on the Go News the program has seen changes in the last 30 years.

Heilskov says more students are showing interest in skilled trades and not just going to a traditional four-year college.

Since the inception of the Hampton-Dumont Scholarship Fund, over $3 million has been generated for scholarships for the graduating class from Hampton-Dumont High School.
