Aplington-Parkersburg alum Megan Johnson will join the Oklahoma women’s track & field program.

The graduate student spent the last four years at Central College in Pella, where she was a standout distance runner. Among her signature performances, she was a member of the 2023 distance medley relay group that placed fifth at the national indoor meet, where the school record for the event was set. She placed sixth in this year’s national indoor 3000-meter race. She’s also part of the school’s best-ever outdoor 4×1600-meter relay.
Throughout her career, she’s earned numerous All-Conference and All-America honors, and has earned three varsity letters.
Johnson was a member of the Aplington-Parkersburg Class of 2020.
