Aplington-Parkersburg alum Megan Johnson will join the Oklahoma womenโs track & field program.

The graduate student spent the last four years at Central College in Pella, where she was a standout distance runner. Among her signature performances, she was a member of the 2023 distance medley relay group that placed fifth at the national indoor meet, where the school record for the event was set. She placed sixth in this yearโs national indoor 3000-meter race. Sheโs also part of the schoolโs best-ever outdoor 4×1600-meter relay.
Throughout her career, sheโs earned numerous All-Conference and All-America honors, and has earned three varsity letters.
Johnson was a member of the Aplington-Parkersburg Class of 2020.
