The Hampton City Council Thursday night passed on the first reading an ordinance amendment concerning the city’s mobile food vendor regulations.
In other business, the Hampton council adopted the plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the 2024-25 street rehabilitation program, and awarded the contract for the work to Heartland Asphalt for just below 280-thousand dollars.
The Hampton City Council also approved a request from the Hampton-Dumont School District to use the city parks for a summer lunch distribution program.
