The boys tennis team postseason will begin Saturday.
In Class 1A Substate 2, #4-seed Grundy Center will play #5-seed Iowa Falls-Alden at Waverly-Shell Rock, which will face the winner in the second round.
Aplington-Parkersburg is the #2-seed in 1A Substate 3, and will face #7-seed Hampton-Dumont-CAL at Byrnes Park in Waterloo. The winner will play either Waterloo Columbus or Union.
The first round will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by the second round at 12:00 p.m. The duals will end when a team wins five matches. They’ll start with singles and continue with doubles if necessary.
