The Aplington-Parkersburg boys tennis team fell 5-1 at Decorah in Wednesday’s 1A Substate 3 final.
The only win was by Grant Wedeking at #2 singles, who won 6-4, 6-2. The Vikings won the rest of the singles matches in two sets.
The Falcons finish 9-5 as a team in duals, but Tate Neymeyer will continue his season in the state singles tournament.
