Wednesday evening the City of Hampton experience a water main break in the SW quadrant of Hampton. Located a block behind Kwik Star and Hardee’s. This had made a water pressure issue and many area restaurants were forced to close early. The city of Hampton worked through the night to get the issue fixed. It has now been fixed but e are still until a water boil advisory. The water has been sent out for testing but will not have results until Friday morning. How ever, the city of Hampton has free water available to all residents out at the Franklin County Fair Grounds. Please limit one case per house hold. Also let others know if they haven’t heard the news. All water for consumption still need to be boiled before use or use bottled water until the restrictions are lifted.
