The Hubbard City Council this week voted to not allow chickens within the city limits, approved the purchase of an upright freezer for the swimming pool at a cost of up to 1-thousand dollars for pool concessions, and directed the city clerk to research options for improvements to the tennis courts.

A slide that was originally purchased for the pool turned out to be too big for the area it was to be installed, creating a hazardous area. The Hubbard council voted to move the slide to the city park.
