The Hampton-Dumont-CAL boys soccer team battled defensively but were kept off the scoreboard in a 4-0 loss at #4(2A) Webster City in Class 2A Substate 2 semifinal on Monday.

The Bulldogs finish 8-8 overall.
The HD-CAL baseball team against Mason City on Monday, rallied from a early 10-2 deficit with a pair of three run innings in the 5th and 6th. The Bulldog were kept off the board in the seventh to fall 11-8. The 0-4 Bulldogs after having Tuesday’s game against South Hamilton cancelled, will take on Kee on Wednesday at Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo.
The HD-CAL softball team was scheduled to play North Butler in season opener on Tuesday, due to forecasted inclement weather the game has been postponed to June 6th. The Bulldogs will host Nashua-Plainfield on Thursday.
