The IHSAA Class 1A Tennis Singles & Doubles State Tournament will begin Wednesday at Byrnes Park in Waterloo. It was originally scheduled to begin Tuesday, but it was postponed due to weather.
Grundy Center senior Tanner Laube is the #3 singles seed and will have a first round match against Ben Van Gorp of Pella.
Aplington-Parkersburg senior Tate Neymeyer is the #4 singles seed and will play Easton Lubarski of Bishop Heelan in the first round.
The first round and quarterfinals of the doubles elimination tournament will be held Wednesday, followed by the semifinals and finals on Thursday. Action will begin at 10:00 a.m.
