Franklin County Emergency Management Coordinator Joel McWilliams tells Radio on the Go News that the county communications center received about 47 calls last night of damage from Tuesday’s storms ranging from trees down to parts of outbuilding roofs blowing off as well as water over the roadway and power poles and lines down.

Most damage, but not all reported, seemed to be in the eastern half of Franklin County. Some trees did end up on homes as a result of the storms.

Franklin County residents can submit a damage report online by visiting franklincountyia.gov and scrolling to the bottom of the page or the Franklin County Iowa Emergency Management page on Facebook.
