The Clarksville City Council met Monday.

They approved the first reading and waived the second and third readings of an ordinance regarding water rates. They set June 17 as the date for a public hearing for the proposed vacation of 264 feet of South Baughman Street.

They accepted a resignation from library employee Cindy Wedeking, who’s retiring after working at the library for 10 years. They also approved a financial transfer from the equipment projects fund to the general fund.
