The Hardin County Board of Supervisors Tuesday tabled a resolution for the Iowa River’s Edge Trail on advice of legal counsel to apply for grant funding from the state.

Then several people spoke to the supervisors, including from the trail board, two members of the Eldora City Council, and the economic development director for the county.

This after the Hardin County Fair Board rejected a request by the trail board and the City of Eldora as they would like the trail to use the existing street, 11th Avenue, that goes from Memorial Park through the fairgrounds.

The Hardin County Board of Supervisors may host a meeting between all the parties involved to figure out the situation.
