North Butler Summer Sports in Highway 3 Rivalry against Clarksville

The North Butler softball and baseball teams will renew their Highway 3 rivalry as they host Clarksville on Thursday.

The North Butler softball team will be in search of their first win at 0-5. In recent games the Bearcats fell to Saint Ansgar and Osage on Tuesday and Wednesday. At the plate Colby Wix leads the team with four hits and four RBI. In the circle Kamri Groen 14 strikeouts and a 6.18 ERA in 17 innings. 

The #10(1A) Clarksville softball team is 4-1 and enters on a three game win streak. The Indians won over Dunkerton and Don Bosco on Tuesday and Wednesday. Sydney Lovrien is an all-around leader for the Indians with 8 RBI, 20 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.77 in 17 innings. 

The game will air on 104.9 KLMJ with pregame at 5:50 p.m. followed by first pitch at 6:00 p.m. in Allison

The 0-4 North Butler and 1-1 Clarksville baseball teams will also be in action. Brody Wangsness leads the Bearcats on the hill with 21 strikeouts. Aiden Morrison has 9 strikeouts for the Indians.

First pitch is at 7:30 p.m. in Allison.
