Over 75 percent of Iowa is now drought free

Almost 76 percent of Iowa is drought free.

That according to the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report.

Last week, over 66 percent of the state was drought free.

There is no moderate, severe, extreme, or exceptional drought listed in the entire state, only just 24-point-27 percent remains abnormally dry.

Most of Cerro Gordo, 2/3rds of Franklin, all of Floyd, and most of Butler County are abnormally dry in the broadcast area.
