Recent Dike-New Hartford graduate Walker Weedman will continue his soccer career next school year at Iowa Central Community College. Weedman signed his letter of intent at Friday’s AP/DNH end of season banquet.
A forward/midfielder, Weedman led the team and North Iowa Cedar League with 26 goals this season, helping lead a team that finished the year as the top-scoring program in Class 2A. He was also second on the team with seven assists.
He’ll join a Triton program that went 3-4-5 last season.
