There was one contested race in Butler County during Tuesday’s primary election.
Republican incumbent district one supervisor, Greg Barnett, won the party’s nomination for the seat over Trent Schmadeke, 172-64.
Butler County Auditor, Leslie Groen, and Butler County Sheriff, Jason Johnson, ran unopposed Tuesday.
