Five people were seeking Republican nominations on the Grundy County Board of Supervisors Tuesday.
For the district one seat, LJ Kopsa defeated Shane Jacobson 166-154 to win the nomination.
Jeffrey Pabst won the Republican nomination for the district five seat with 203 votes, defeating Rick Smith who received 115 votes.
Incumbent district three supervisor Vic Vandehaar ran unopposed during Tuesday’s primary election.
