Monday, the Franklin County Board of Supervisors met with Tanner Miller, an employee for the secondary roads department and a member of the Hansell Fire Department, who requested a policy be put into place in regards to volunteer emergency responders. After discussion, the supervisors directed HR director, Audrey Emery, to work with Miller and emergency management coordinator, Joel McWilliams, on developing a policy.
In other business, the Franklin Supervisors approved a resolution adopting county planning and zoning program applications and approved a letter of support for the Franklin County Historical Society.
