The Aplington City Council this week decided that the swimming pool shed should be taken down. The pool vessel will stay until construction of a new or renovated pool.
In other business, the Aplington council approved the purchase of new playground equipment, while the existing equipment will be disposed of.
The Aplington City Council decided to also organize committees to discuss and review projects including the swimming pool and fire/EMS building.
