Almost 84 percent of Iowa is now drought free.
The latest U-S Drought Monitor Report also shows that areas of the state listed as being abnormally dry dropped from about 23 percent last week to 16-point-35 percent this week.
For the first time in months, no drought is being reported in the entire broadcast area.
