The Iowa Association of REALTORS earlier this spring received 400-thousand dollars in grants from the National Association of REALTORS to provide housing relief to Iowans impacted by the severe storms and tornadoes which struck the state on April 26th and May 21st.

So far, the state association has provided $32,700 through 26 grants to Iowans across the state. Under the grant, the state association will provide up to 15-hundred dollars in housing relief to displaced individuals who primarily reside in counties where Governor Kim Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation.

In the broadcast area, counties included in the proclamation are Butler, Franklin, Hancock and Hardin.
