Last week the Parkersburg City Council approved a quote not to exceed 129-thousand dollars for street resurfacing work this summer.
The Parkersburg council approved replacing the control module at the water plant. The current control module has been in operation since 1978.
The Parkersburg City Council also discussed motorized vehicles being driven on the Highway 57/14 pedestrian trail. The council agreed to continue to stop, warn and/or cite anyone driving a motorized vehicle, including golf carts, on the trail.
