The #13 (1A) Clarksville softball team won 5-1 at #11 (2A) Central Springs Tuesday.
After two scoreless innings, the Indians scored twice in the third to take the lead for good. They added one in the fifth and two in the sixth innings to finish off the win. Lauren Kelm was 4-for-4 with two runs scored. Clarksville (12-7, 8-1 ISC) will host Baxter Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
The Clarksville baseball team will also host Baxter in an Iowa Star crossover game. The Indians (1-13, 0-11 ISC) will look to snap a nine-game losing streak, and will look to bounce back from Monday’s 5-4 walk-off loss at Colo-Nesco. The game will start at 5:15 p.m.
