Monday night the Hampton City Council held a workshop meeting and met with Jason Petersburg from the Veenstra and Kimm firm who presented the water main improvement project bid tabulation.
There were 2 bids received and Petersburg recommended the council accept the base bid plus Alternate #6 in the amount of $549,049.50 from Brian Nettleton Excavating of Joice.
The Hampton City Council will consider this recommendation at Thursday’s business meeting.
