The Aplington-Parkersburg School District is asking for volunteers to travel to Spencer on Friday to help those affected by severe flooding.
Those interested in volunteering are asked to contact Principal Aaron Thomas at aaron.thomas@a-pcsd.net or call and leave a message at 319-346-1571. Volunteers should bring gloves, boots, old shoes, and wear an AP shirt.
The group will leave the high school parking lot at 6:30 a.m. Friday and return in the evening.
