Bruce Dall was honored as the National Girls Basketball Coach of the Year by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association. The organization held its Coach of the Year ceremony Wednesday in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Dall, the head coach at Cedar Rapids Prairie, recently finished a tenure at Dike-New Hartford, where he led the Wolverines to four consecutive state championships and seven consecutive state tournament appearances. Dall also previously served as the head coach at AGWSR, Allison-Bristow and Janesville. He previously was an inductee to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Dall’s time at the convention also included a presentation on “30 years of zone press, mixing up presses and adjustments made throughout a game.”
Dall will begin his first season at Cedar Rapids Prairie later this year.
