This week the Allison City Council discussed new phones for the city that would include the public library, swimming pool, and fire department.
There have been several issues with the phones at Allison City Hall where calls have not been coming in or the callers are getting a message that the line has been disconnected.
The Allison City Council decided to go with a web-based phone system. With this change, will come a new phone number for the city entities.
